So it’s the last day of November and the last day of this run of nablopomo. If you haven’t been reading along, that’s short of National Blog Posting Month. I decided to take the month of November to work through where I’d like to see Clueless Fashionista go in the future.
It’s been a great 4 years and I’ve learned a lot about style, beauty, blogging and myself in the process of building Clueless Fashionista. As I approach year 5, I wanted to revamp things slightly so that I could share more of what I’ve learned in this time.
Well one big thing I learned is that style, beauty and fashion are definitely topics worth exploring and that even though I’ve been working on being more stylish, I still don’t feel any more stylish than the first day I started this blog. What I do feel is more comfortable in my skin and more comfortable being uncomfortable, which is probably better.
I’ve learned that in order to be stylish you have to be willing to take risks. You also have to be willing to stand out. But before any of that happens, you have to be willing to be supportive to yourself. The cool thing is that all of these things affect style and beauty but they also affect how I live my daily life.
So as I go forward, Clueless Fashionista will still be about style and beauty but it will also be about my personal journey through this stage of my life because it’s all interconnected. And while I’m sharing my story, I want to continue to share yours. So keep the comments coming. Please email questions, thoughts, insights, fashion blunders, fashion successes and everything in between. I realize that while no two journeys are the same, it helps to hear the stories. I can always learn from you just as I hope you learn from me.
