Consume 5-6 small meals a day. By eating small meals about every 3 several hours your abdomen fat will shrink producing it much simpler to determine your ab muscles. Just make sure they consist of healthy, natural foods like lean meats, fruits, veggies, beans, and nuts. You can have about 3 cheat meals each week as long as you remain loyal for your consuming routines.

Getting six pack abdominals isn't about performing a ton of fundamental crunches every day. It is not about buying the most expensive gear you see on TV or some kind of magic pill which will do it for you personally.

I recently lost over 60lbs and went from size 42 waist to a 34. Exercise was a huge factor, but I would have to say what we eat and when is a more crucial factor. I try to eat 5-6 smaller protein-rich meals with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, I eat my biggest meal of the day in the morning and taper off with subsequent ones throughout the day. This helps get the metabolism going and keeps the appetite under control. Obese people often eat less than I do, except they skip breakfast, chug sugary sodas all day, snack on greasy carb-laden junk food and then gorge before dinner and up until bedtime. By doing that, you are essentially telling your body to store fats and metabolize foods at a slower rate.

Wow! Thanks for the great tip. I agree that losing the muffin top is the best way to go but sometimes you want a quick fix and this sounds like a much safer route than to try a crash diet (which never works, by the way). I've never heard of TapeShaper. I'll have to look into it.

Losing that muffin top is always best (it's been a struggle for me for years)...so when I want to totally hide my muffin top, I apply a little piece of TapeShaper over my lower tummy, and like magic it's flat! And comfortable too. Anyway, just wanted to share my trade secret with your readers.

I agree but when people look good, they are more likely to want to make those changes to look better in their clothes. If they always feel like they look bad or wear ill fitting garments, they may not be inspired to make those long term dietary changes. Baby steps!

LOL. I think people wearing skin tight sweats is a simple fashion "don't". Not only is it unflattering but it looks odd. Aren't sweats supposed to be comfortable?

Even though fit of clothes is important, many women feel bad when they have to go for a larger size.

Covering a muffin top with big shirts and cute dresses are great measures – much better than letting it all hang out! These tips, as you said, should be temporary measures. They don’t replace getting to the root of the m-top problem.

All of us who have excess weight anywhere need to start and stick to a good fitness program and diet that works for us. We need to get out and do some walking, running, swimming, or some other aerobic exercise to burn up the fat. Also add some ab or other toning exercises to get those muscles in shape. If you add an effective diet, your muffin top will be gone before you can hit the stores for the next season.
