some people are born fashionistas, the rest of us just need a little help
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, whichever holiday you celebrate. I also hope that everyone in the cities that have had the extreme weather is doing ok as well.
We are closing out another year. 2008 has been an interesting year in so many ways. The fashion trends of this past year have been an interesting mix of things from bold colors to western themed wear. I hope you had an opportunity to incorporate some of the fashion trends of 2008 into your wardrobe. I’d love to see pictures if you have any. It would be fun to do a fashion year in review featuring some of my fellow Clueless Fashionistas. Well as we move into 2009, I have compiled a list of fashion trends that we can look forward to for the upcoming year. I will continue the “How do I wear that trend” feature to give you tips on how to wear next season’s trends but this is just a glimpse into what you can look forward to. Enjoy.

I’m still clinging on to the urban style and I hope it will soon re-establish itself. You have compiled a great list, I especially like the shift dress. I would like to see more heavy jewelry and accessories on people. I like the rattle
I think people still underrate jewelry as a fashion statement. People should be bold and brave with their jewelry and make a real statement!!
Good call on the fashions. I really like the sheer tops and large earrings that are coming back in style. The large pearls are so fun with a vintage type of feel. I love working with them and wearing them. The bold bright colors in clothing are also something to look forward to this summer.

I love the fashion reviews. I especially like the look of the new sheer materials, combined with a cool pair of jeans and some of that
hip jewelry and you can be sure to stand out.
Chunky knit sweaters (and sweater coats) are everywhere this fall. Pair long over short by wearing a mid-thigh or longer sweater with dark leggings; wear the look with or without a belt.

The outfits of the models are just really great especially with a little taste of vintage stuff and even mix for the 2009 trend.
