I agree! shift dresses can also be paired with a nice set of jewelry. You don’t need to wear expensive jewelry just to look stunningly elegant. I love shift dresses. It’s such a versatile style. One of my favorite things to do with a shift dress to spice it up is wear a thick belt with it. Try it and experiment with colors. I’ve put together looks that range from retro 60′s to almost semi-formal.

Shift dresses are one of my favourite styles. I love the high neckline because I feel uncomfortable wearing low cut dresses and as you mentioned they are timeless and can be worn any season and any year.
