2011 Fall Trend Update
The temps are dropping! It went from the high 90′s to the low 90′s here in Atlanta this week. It’s almost jacket weather down here! Kidding but if you’re in one of those states that’s had three digit temps a lot this summer, you know what I’m talking about.
But I digress…
It is almost Labor Day which means that fall is right around the corner so we have to start winterizing our wardrobes but that doesn’t just mean buying a nice coat and some boots. Here are some of the fall fashion trends as featured during Fall Fashion Week, which means that a round of “How do I wear that trend” is coming right up too. I was just reading in Glamour that colored jeans are back in style. I was excited until I remembered I bought hot pink jeans 4-5 years ago and then never wore them because I felt like I was too old for them. I still need to figure out how to wear them without looking silly.

You are definitely not too old to wear hot pink jeans. They’re going to stand out when you wear them but if you make them the focus of your outfit and pair them with neutrals otherwise, you’ll look great. For example, you could do a basic white button down shirt with nude pumps. Or you could wear a gray, form fitting cardigan and nude or gray pumps. If you keep your top and shoes neutral in color and do minimal gold or silver accessories, you can definitely rock those hot pink jeans. Please send pics if you do!
