Your underwear-choosing the right bra

Oct 13, 2011 by

Ladies! I have a good friend who is very adamant about making sure her boobs aren’t low in her outfits and it has affected the way I move about the world.

As a busty lady, I am always being made aware of my breasts and how they look in different types of clothes. I learned early on (elementary school) that even in a loose fitting t-shirt, my breasts can be distracting to people (mainly guys). Now as a young lady growing up, I was self conscious about everything already so being top heavy was just another thing for me to think about. Thankfully, as I got older, I settled into my body and decided that aside from getting a breast reduction (which I have no medical reason to do), the best way for me to look polished was to buy bras that fit and supported me.

Now this initially led to me wearing lots of very utilitarian bras (what I call over the shoulder boulder holders) that weren’t very pretty but they worked. But I slowly got to the point where I wanted to wear pretty bras and then came the problems. I found lots of pretty bras for smaller breast sizes but very few for me. Then when I did find them, they fit horribly. So I was once again self conscious about my boobs and then I began to notice that lots of women were wearing bras that didn’t properly accent their boobs, size notwithstanding. I thank my friend for being the great boob equalizer. I realized that wearing the wrong bra had nothing to do with the size of a ladies’ chest but a lack of knowledge about how to make the right choice.

So….ta da! Here is a video about choosing the right bra. It’s from the folks over at Daily Candy and I love how they feature one woman who’s on the thinner side and a woman who’s more curvy. So this video is for you all! Enjoy and take heed. Be more proactive about your underwear, ladies.
